The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Helen Markley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Neighbor

I have known Helen Sue for as long as I can remember. She and her family have lived within less than 1/2 mile of my family for as long as I can remember. I had the privilege of working with her and Jim at the E-Squad for a time. They have always been willing to stop and chat, or help in any way they could. 

I have to share that when my oldest dayghter was born, I, as was the custom at that time, passed out Cigars to the men and Suckers to the ladies With the exception of two. Helen Sue got a Cigar! Her words to me were; "Joe, I've known you all your life. I want to share in your joy by smokeing a cigar with you." We sat down, smoked our cigars and talked of days gone by.

Heaven has received another GEM!
