I am Howard's youngest daughter. I was raised in Ft. Thomas, Ky. When my dad was inducted into the Army
at Ft. Thomas, he wrote my mother and said he wanted to live there after WWII. He got his dream, but he
missed his family. He was very close to Lois because they were the first two children and spent a lot of time
playing together. After he and my mother needed assisted living, daddy would call all of his family members,
including Lois. I met Lois when I was raising my family. She was warm and friendly. She saved us dinner after
our long trip from Cincinnati. I was with her about 3 other times, and was fortunate to see her in 2013 after my dad passed, and again in 2014. I wish I had known her better. I know she was the 'matriarch' to the rest of the
siblings, ever kind and supporting. God bless you, Lois. You are now with your parents and my dad. He is very happy to be with you, but we will miss your kindness and your smile. Marilyn
