Pamela Sue Snyder, 46, of 1299 Canoe Run Road Roanoke passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Weston on October 13, 1967: daughter of John Wilson and Sue (Suttle) Wilson of Jane Lew, WV. On August 7, 1990, she married Matthew Snyder, who survives.
Pamela is survived by two daughters: Amber James and Daniell Snyder both of Weston and two grandchildren: Isabella and Madeline James. She is also survived by one sister: Jamie Boram of Raleigh, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Pamela was an elementary teacher at the Roanoke Elementary School where she taught Third Grade. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the ”Class of 1986.” and a graduate of Glenville State College and West Virginia University of Morgantown with a degree in Education. Pamela had a love for fishing, hiking, camping, and the outdoors in general. She will be missed by family, friends, and her students and fellow teachers at Roanoke School.
At Pamela’s request she will be cremated and there will be no formal service. Fellowship time will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 2-6 p.m.from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N.
