Obituary for Ruby Louise Randolph (Kincaid)

Ruby Louise  Randolph (Kincaid)
Ruby Louise Randolph, 85, of Smith Run Road Weston passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Clarksburg on August 1, 1929: daughter of the late Basil Kincaid and Iris (Ashcroft) Kincaid. On December 13, 1952, she married Lyle Randolph, who preceded her in death on February 21, 1998.
Mrs. Randolph is survived by one daughter: Karen (Matt Harvey) Randolph of Weston, two sons: Alan (Debby) Randolph of Lost Creek and David Randolph of Weston, and seven grandchildren: Wilson Harvey, Ross Harvey, Emily(Michael) Daugherty , Kara (John)Elko, Luke Randolph, Brienna Randolph and Brittney Randolph Thompson and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother: Robert Kincaid of Wooster, OH and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lyle, Mrs. Randolph was preceded in death by one brother: Bud Kincaid.
Mrs. Randolph was co-owner and bookkeeper with her husband Lyle of Lewis County Livestock Order Buying Company. She and her husband also had LCR Livestock Trucking. Earlier Mrs. Randolph was employed at the Harrison County Farm Bureau. She graduated from Clarksburg Business College.
Ruby was an avid reader and great supporter of the Louis Bennett Public Library of Weston. She was an accomplished pianist and loved music. Mrs. Randolph loved her farm and the out of doors in general. Her family remembers her as a kind and giving person and a wonderful cook. Ruby's greatest accomplishment in her eyes were her family; children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Jonathan Nettles officiating. Interment will follow services in the Brick Church Cemetery of Lost Creek, WV. On-line condolences and life stories may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory at the Louis Bennett Public Library 148 Court Avenue Weston, WV 26452.
