Rebecca Ruth Lattea, 67, of Right Freemans Creek Road Weston passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Weston on July 5, 1949: daughter of the late Clark Tanner and Emma (Price) Tanner of Jane Lew, WV. On September 23, 1972, she married Archie E. Lattea, Jr., who survives.
She is also survived by one son: Michael Lattea and wife Misty of Ireland, one daughter: Melissa E. Lattea of Weston, four grandchildren: Brandon McCue, Isiah Lattea, Bianca Lattea and Brooklynn Lattea and 2 step grandchildren: Ryan Posey and Bryce Posey. Also surviving are three brothers: Steve Tanner and wife Linda of Cleveland, OH, Stanley Tanner and wife Becky of Sutton and Danny Paul Tanner of Frametown, two sisters: Ella Jean Rose and husband Kenny and Helen Walton both of Weston and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lattea was a glasscutter with Kimble Glass of Waldeck, Louie Glass Factory and DeGarmo’s Glass Cutting Shop of Weston. Her and her husband attended the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Rebecca’s hobbies included playing on the computer and quilting. She will be missed by family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. Interment will follow services in the Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Rebecca may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
