Pamela Michelle ""Shelly""  Belt (Brown)
Pamela Michelle “Shelly” Belt, 46, of Weston passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Elkins on April 11, 1970: daughter of the late Danny Brown, Sr. and Lorraine (Blankenship) Yokum of Huttonsville and her late step father: Keith Yokum, Sr. On June 2, 1990, she married Chad Anthony Belt, who survives.
She is also survived by one daughter: Lilayna Meizhi Belt at home. Shelly is also survived by two brothers: Keith Yokum, Jr. and companion: Heather of Huttonsville and Danny Brown, Jr of New Martinsville, three sisters: Tammy (Kevin) Hefner of Jane Lew, Kimberly (Terry) White and Beth (Danny) Lanham both of Huttonsville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was also survived by two brother-in-laws: Kevin (Kathy) Belt of Weston and Todd Belt of Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Belt was a medical assistant with Exemplar Medical Group of Bridgeport, WV. She was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School of Mill Creek, WV with the class of 1988. Shelly was a member of the Assemblies of God Churches and attended the Way of Holiness Church of Buckhannon, WV. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature. Trout fishing, ATV riding and travel were some of her favorite outdoor endeavors. Shelly was an avid reader. Her greatest joy though was being a Mom and wife.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Interment will follow services in the Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Shelly may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
