Condolences

Condolence From: Michele Cooke
Condolence: I only recently found out about Otis' passing, & as I sit here after reading the notice, I think of all the fun times at the Players Club we had. All the wonderful sets he designed, and worked on. The shows we worked together, on & off stage...I can hear his voice & his laughter in my head....I was also fortunate to occasionally have meetings with him during our "day jobs"....Since he retired and returned home I have thought of him often and when I've seen other Players' Club alum from our time, he comes up in the conversation. And we always smile. He made working on a set fun. My thoughts & prayers, and condolences are with you @ this time.

Condolence: I wish to extend my condolences to the family of Otis. His historic preservation efforts in my hometown of Weston is much appreciated by me and will long be remembered by me. I also enjoyed reading his perceptive and wise letters to the editor in The Weston Democrat.

I send to you my most sincere condolences in regard to the passing of Otis. I always admired him for his wit and for his intellectual manner when conducting himself. He was a tremendous historian and writer and contributed much to the literary world. I considered him to be a super true friend and will miss him and his contributions greatly. May God bless each of you. Gary and Wilma
