Linda Sue Fisher, 69, of 262 Pricetown Road Weston passed away Sunday morning, July 31, 2016 at approximately 9 a.m. at her residence following a sudden a sudden illness. She was born in Lewis County on December 17, 1946: daughter of the late Loudin Guy Fisher and Sarah Margaret (Smith) Fisher.
Linda is survived by one daughter: Melissa June Fisher of Weston, three grandchildren: Johnathan Scott Riffle of Jane Lew, Kristol Dawn Riffle of Weston and Jessica Nicole Cayton and husband Steven also of Weston and 6 great grandchildren: Nicholas Andrew Fraley, Colin Nathaniel Cayton, William “Willie” Richard Eagle, Skylar Jane Cayton, Jayce Nathaniel Riffle and Owen “Owee” Michael Cayton. Also surviving are two sisters: Ruth Virginia Hicks and husband Ike of Berlin, and Carol Marie Fisher of Weston, one brother: Louie Jackson “Jack” Fisher of Weston and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one son: Gary Wayne Fisher, one daughter: Rebecca Jane Fisher, three sisters: Patricia Ann (Fisher) Allman, Kay Francis (Fisher) Dotson and Nancy Lee (Fisher) Halterman and one brother: William Lewis Fisher.
Linda was a glassworker for 35 years. She enjoyed football and her favorite teams were the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Cleveland Browns. She also enjoyed playing the lottery and spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids, whom she loved very much. She also loved her TV especially soap operas and listening to music as well.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Ron Brown officiating. Interment will follow services in Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Linda may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
