Juanita Pearl Buchanan, 90, of 475 Court Avenue, Weston, West Virginia passed away on July 11, 2012 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia following an extended illness. She was born on July 13, 1921 in Lewis County, West Virginia, daughter of the late David Bennett and Maycel (Palmer) Bennett. On July 22, 1939 she married Noel Charles Buchanan who preceded her in death in January of 1999.
Juanita Pearl Buchanan is survived by two daughters Deborah Frick and Linda Turner and husband Ron both of Weston. Also surviving are two grandchildren Noelle Trickett and Ronne Dee Fealy, and three great-grandchildren Emily Trickett, Lila Fealy, and Matthew Fealy. Juanita was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Juanita retired from Sharp Hospital after many years of service. Juanita loved to play bingo, spend time with her close friends and family especially her grandkids and great-grandkids, and she loved dogs.
Family will receive friends at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue, Weston on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6-8p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Kenneth Miller officiating.
