Joseph Anthony Comberiati, 68, of 154 Edgewood Drive Weston passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Pittsburg, PA on September 12. 1947: son of the late Joseph R. Comberiati and Angela (Fortini) Comberiati. On October 27, 1990, he married Marilyn (Oliver) Coberiati, who survives.
Joseph is also survived by one brother: Barry (Cathrine) Comberiati of Morgantown, one sister: Angela (Doug) Warder of Grafton and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a brother-in-law: John (Dorma) Oliver of Weston and Joseph had five cats: Chloe, Mommy, Buttons, Baby Dumpling and Ernie, who were his kids. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by one brother: Larry Comberiati.
Joseph was in staff development at both Weston State Hospital and William Sharpe Hospitals of Weston. He was a graduate of St Francis High School with the class of 1967 and a graduate of West Virginia University. He was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church of Weston Joseph had studied three years to be a priest in Israel. Joseph loved to shop and enjoyed reading.
Family and friends will be received at Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. Interment will follow services in the Weston Masonic Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Joseph may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
