James Edward  Sias Sr.
James Edward Sias, Sr., 64, Goff Ave. Clarksburg passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 in United Hospital Center of Bridgeport following an extended illness. James was born in Sias, WV on November 6, 1951: son of the late Woodrow Sias and Rhoda Ann (Willis) Sias. On July 3, 1971, James married Joy Belle (Fultineer) Sias, who survives.
Mr. Sias is also survived by one son: James Edward (Veronica) Sias, Jr. of Johnson City, TN and two grandchildren: Joseph Austin and Deseray Dawn Sias. He is also survived by one brother: Herb Sias of Jane Lew and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one son: Joe Eddie Sias, two brothers: Paul Sias and Grover Sias, Sr. and one sister: Annalene Marple.
Mr. Sias was a driller and rig hand with S W Jack of Lewis County and was a mechanic with United Coal Company of Lost Creek, WV. James’ hobbies included working on cars, boating and fishing.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ralph Miller officiating. Interment will follow services in the Brick Church Cemetery of Lost Creek, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of James may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
