Eugene Dale  Boggs
Eugene Dale Boggs, 63, of US Highway 33W Weston passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Crestview Nursing Home of Jane Lew following an extended illness. He was born in Lewis County on July 20, 1953: son of the late John Boggs and Lucy (Posey) Boggs.
Mr. Boggs is survived by his companion: Bonnie Monnett of Weston, three children: Melissa Boggs of Crawfordville, FL and Tina Boggs and William Boggs both of Weston and step children: Brandi Waugh, Kenny and Frankie Monnett and Roscoe, Eddie and Mike Lipscomb and the late Dave Lipscomb. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Raven Boggs, Dakotah Cutlip, Candace Dubose, Aaron, Logan, Savanna and Sierra Boggs, Caitlyn Howes, Michael Monnett, Gavin Waugh and Tyler and David Boggs and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother: Roger Boggs of Roanoke and three sisters: Cella Allman of Weston, Patty Pertz of Walkersville and Lesa Lipscomb of Adrian, WV. In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by one brother: Bobby Boggs.
Mr. Boggs was a mechanic and a farmer for most of his life. He was a graduate of Weston High School and a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Eugene was an avid Ham Radio Operator and enjoyed fishing but he really loved his biscuits.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 11 am until 1 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bob Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow services in the Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Eugene may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
