Heaven is a little brighter with the addition of a new little angel, Emily Marie Bennett, 9 month old daughter of Travis Drew and Janie Marie (Lamb) Bennett of Camden who were blessed to tell her “You are my sunshine!” She was the sister of Austin Levi Lamb and Silas James Lamb. She was born in Morgantown on May 27, 2016 where she passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Emily is also survived by maternal grandparents: Wanda and Michael Lake of Camden and the late Clifford Lamb, paternal grandmother: Wilma L. Bennett of Buckhannon, maternal great grandparents: William and Mary Jane Titchnell of Weston and Betty Lamb of Troy and paternal great grandparents: Juanita Joann Bennett of Buckhannon and the late James Bennett.
She is also survived by five uncles: Brian (Lisa) Lamb of Fairmont, David Lamb and companion Kelly of Weston, Matthew (Amanda) Lamb of Glenville, Justin (Linsey) Lamb of Weston and Wesley Lamb of Camden, one aunt: Stephanie (Jack) Fultineer of Alum Bridge and several cousins.
Emily was their “Little Miss Sunshine” who was always happy with a smile that lite up a room. Through all her surgeries, Emily was as tough as any adult. Her family, call her their little miracle, a gift from God. Her family and friends will miss this little angel’s smile. Her family’s loss is Heaven’s gain.
Family and friends will be received at the Rock Grove Baptist Church of Linn on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. from the Rock Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Ben Hall officiating.
