Obituary for Ellen Reta Casto (Linger)
Ellen Reta Casto,82, of Weston departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2015 at United Hospital Center of Bridgeport following a sudden illness. She was born in Weston on March 4, 1933: daughter of the late Orval Linger and Reta (Smith) Linger. Ellen married her high school sweetheart and husband on May 27, 1951, Robert N. Casto, who preceded her in death on October 15, 2007.
Mrs. Casto is survived by her children: Robert Orval Casto of Weston and Teresa Faye Casto Williston and husband Gary of Norwalk, OH. Mrs. Casto was the proud grandma of Stacy Casto Maltese and husband Nick, Corey Casto Miller and husband Anthony, Tracy Williston Casada and husband Michael, Stephen Williston and wife Ashley, Kenneth Williston and wife Christy and Shannon Williston Polak and husband Dustin, 7 great grandchildren: Ryan, Alexis, Abram, Berea, Amos, Ruth,Chloe and two more on the way.
Mrs. Casto was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Weston High School with “the class of1951”and attended The Message of Light Tabernacle of Weston. Ellen’s greatest joy was family get togethers.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Michael Casada officiating. Interment will follow services in the Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Ellen may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
