Obituary for Elizabeth McVicker Brooks

Elizabeth McVicker Brooks, 47, of Quarry Glenn Drive Weston passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Clarksburg on July 11, 1968: daughter of the late Stanley Roger Brooks and Mary Elizabeth (Porter) Brooks.
Miss Brooks is survived by her only son: Seth M. Gordon of Weston. She is also survived by two brothers: Stephen and Daniel Brooks both of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by one sister: Patricia Debar.
Miss Brooks was a waitress in restaurants and a cashier for general stores. She was a supporter of breast cancer research and animal shelters. Elizabeth was a big cat lover.
Miss Brooks’ desire to be cremated was honored. A family and friends Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Elizabeth may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
