OBITUARY

Douglas Bruce Marsh, 50, of 752 Camden Ave, Weston passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the SJMH following an extended illness. He was born in Weston on January 19, 1962: son of the late Claude Kenneth Marsh and Monica Dale (Hefner) Marsh of Columbus, Ohio. On August 30, 1986, he married Linda Butler.
Mr. Marsh is also survived by one son: Wesley Clark Marsh of Weston, and his fiance’ Lindsay Hamric of Jane Lew, three brothers Mike Marsh and Robin of Buckhannon, Tom Marsh and Kathy of Weston, Eddie Marsh and Laurie of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Nancy Stalnaker and Forrest of Wise, VA, and Janet McGuire of Memphis, TN, a mother-in-law, Dot Butler, four sisters-in laws, Debbie Radcliff and Ronnie, Carol Snyder and Lane, Pam Lewis and Stanley, Brenda Crites and sons Nathan and Branson.
Prior to being disabled, Mr. Marsh was a label designer at Alkhan Label factory. Early in his career he worked in the vending and grocery business. Mr. Marsh was an avid supporter of Lewis County sports programs, and enjoyed his sign making business ventures. He especially loved spending time at camp and he welcomed his family and friends there often. He loved his devoted pets, Mollie and Killer.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Mark Anderson and Reverend Clifford West officiating.
