Donna Sue  Riddle (Evans)
Donna Sue Riddle, 41, of Lost Creek passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Fredericksburg, VA surrounded by her children and husband following an accident. She was born in Summersville on June 15, 1975: daughter of the late Jimmy Evans and Brenda (Prunty) Hefner. On October 20, 2011 she married the love of her life, Stephen Riddle, Jr., who survives.
Donna is also survived by two daughters: Chantelle (Tyler) Ewing of Clarksburg and Paris Linger of Lost Creek and two sons: Lincoln (Heather) Norman of Lost Creek and Stephen Riddle, III of Lost Creek. She was also blessed with four grandchildren: Izac, Kaydence and Jacob Ewing and Paisley Riddle. Donna is survived by one sibling: David Evans of Buckhannon and nieces and nephews.
Donna was a Registered Nurse BSN who worked at United Hospital Center of Bridgeport in the Radiation Oncology Unit and formerly in the ER. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School, attended Fairmont University and finished her Nursing degree on-line. Her hobbies included Jeeping, biking and boating. Donna enjoyed making crafts and decorating. She loved taking pictures and selfies were her thing. Her grandchildren were special to her and she loved taking care of them. Donna was well loved and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Earl Cayton officiating. Interment will follow services in the McCutcheon Cemetery of Ireland, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Donna may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
