OBITUARY

Burl Lynden White, 84, of 1947 Dry Fork, Weston , went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Weston on March 22, 1928: son of the late James Goff White and Mabel Freda (Woofter) White. On September 10, 1955, he married Jane (Barrett) White, who survives.
Mr. White is also survived by one daughter: Elizabeth A. Porter and Rick of Cincinnati, OH; two sons: David L. White of Weston and Mark J. White and Michelle of Scotts Depot; five grandchildren: Andrew R. Porter, Sarah E. Porter, Anna M. White, Ethan M. White and Jacob B. White. He is also survived by three brothers: William White of Weston, Joseph White of Akron, OH and John White of Seattle, WA; three sisters: Martha Kerns of Weston, Jean Stalnaker of Clarksburg and Annabelle Clark of Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by one brother: James White and one sister: Wilma Leach.
Mr. White was a retired carpenter with CNG. He attended the Freemansburg United Methodist Church. He loved gardening, farming, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the NRA and Weston Masonic Lodge # 10 A.F. & A.M
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 5-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
