Brenda Lou  Hefner (Prunty)
Brenda Lou Hefner, 63, of Wewston passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 in United Hospital Center of Bridgeport following an extended illness. She was born in Sutton on August 10, 1952: daughter of the late Anderson Prunty and Mary (Wyatt) Prunty. On October 17, 2000, she married Monroe Victor Hefner, who preceded her in death on December 13, 2002.
Mrs. Hefner is survived by one daughter: Donna Riddle and husband Steve of Lost Creek, one son: David Evans and wife Jody of Buckhannon,seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Randy Prunty and Jessie Prunty both of Weston, two sisters: Vicky Lynn Bowen of Weston and Nelda Beauvais of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews and a good friend: Pamela Morris. In addition to her parents and husband, Monroe, Brenda was preceded in death by one daughter: Connie Sue Evans, two brothers: Jimmy Dale Prunty and John Prunty and two sisters: JoAnn Evans and Janet Skinner.
Mrs. Hefner was a homemaker. She loved animals and especially her dog, Angel. One of her hobbies was playing Bingo and the other was cooking.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Interment will follow services in the McCutcheon Cemetery of Walkersville, WV.
