Anita Charmaine White, 60, of Alum Fork Road Camden went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Wooster, Ohio on December 27, 1955: daughter of the late James Keister and Barbara (Fortney) Keister. On May 27, 1993, she married the love of her life, Randell “Randy” White, who survives.
Anita is also survived by her loving son, Hunter Brandon White at home. She is also survived by one brother: Randal (Sarah) Keister of Round Hill, KY, two sisters: Crystal (Ronnie) Beeson of Weston and Debbie Queen of Jackson Mill and several nieces and nephews.
Anita had just retired as an elementary school teacher from Alum Bridge Elementary School with over 20 years of service. She had also taught at Roanoke Elementary School and first taught in Ohio for a total of over 36 years of service. Anita was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the class of 1974, also a graduate of Glenville State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and later graduated from Marshall University with a Master’s in Education.
Anita was a member of the Churchville United Methodist Church. She started the soccer program in Robert L. Bland Middle School and was its first coach and later moved to the Lewis County High School Soccer program as an assistant and later the head coach. Anita was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Stephen White officiating assisted by Reverend Ronnie Beeson and Reverend Paul Thompson. Interment will follow services in the Snyder Cemetery of Churchville, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Anita may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
