Mary Jean  Berg (Blake)
Mary Jean Berg, 89, of Broad Run Road Jane Lew went home to be with her Lord at her home on Friday, August 18, 2017. She was born in Weston on August 21, 1927: daughter of the late Mary G. Barb and Wade Blake.
Mrs. Berg is survived by her children: Melissa Bargerhuff (Joe) and Marilee Rinehart (Jim) both of Jane Lew; Tim Berg of Weston; brother, Jack Blake of Maryland; 7 grandchildren, Amanda Berg, Letitia Farnsworth (Stephen), Ashley Moore (Daniel) all of Weston, Cody Rinehart (CJ) of Salem, Sheena Berg of Weston , Presley Posey (Stanton) of Weston,Kiana Bargerhuff (Kyle) of Jane Lew; 17 great grandchildren, Sarah, Austin, Sierra, Courtney, Maddison, Maison, Kameron, Bella, Channing, JJ, Jaren, Jayleigh, Jeramiah, Maliki, Dakota, Brooklyn and ShyAnne and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Mrs. Berg was reunited in Heaven with her husband , Lyle Edward Lee Berg, whom she married on June 20, 1945; daughters, Debbie and Carollee; brothers, Mark, Dana, and Paul Blake; sister, Edna Davisson; grandson, Jamey Lee Berg and great granddaughter, Evalee Rose Rinehart.
Mrs. Berg was a seamstress. She was a graduate of Jane Lew High School class of 1945. She was a member of the Broad Run Baptist Church where she played the piano for over 50 years. She enjoyed sewing, music and crocheting. Mary Jean loved the Lord with all her heart!
Family and friends will be received at Broad Run Baptist Church 675 Broad Run Road Jane Lew, WV on Sunday, August 20, 2017 for fellowship time from 2-3 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from Broad Run Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Garavaglia officiating. A private graveside service will be held at the Broad Run Baptist Church Cemetery where her and her husband will be interred as one, at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Broad Run Baptist Church for the Children’s Church Camp 675 Broad Run Road Jane Lew, WV 27378.
