The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lester Robinson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

ol puddycat

I remember when Lester lived down the road and cb's were the internet of the time.  A lot of us neighborhood kids would get on cb's with him.  His cb handle was puddycat lol.  Always enjoyed visiting him and his wife Betty, both were great folks.  I'd go to see them and they'd say hey lets order a pizza.  We'd all sit and listen to Lesters stories. Myself and Thomas Blake would help Lester with projects from digging out his basement to diggig pipelines for his trailer he was putting in at the time.  Funniest thing ever was I had 1 of those rockets you'd shoot off and it'd parachute back.  Lester was working on his trailer across the road from my house.  I shot it off and it flew up and his way.  He came down and said "I looked up all the sudden this rocket was comin at my head I thought Iraq was attackin me" LOL R.I.P. Lester, you were a good soul............
