Obituary for Jack Vaden Skinner

Jack Vaden  Skinner
Jack Vaden Skinner, 77, of Orlando passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Reka Personal Care Home of Heaters following an extended illness. He was born on September 20, 1938: son of the late Arnold Vaden Skinner and Opal Mae (Duvall) Skinner. On March 11, 1962, he married Pauline (Skinner) Skinner, who survives.
Jack is also survived by two daughters: Rebecca Skinner and companion Dannie Gum of Camden and Rachel White and husband Chris of Camden, two sons: Mark Skinner and wife Nancy Wine of Burnsville and Jackie Skinner and wife Cathy Bleigh of Orlando, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters: Joann Conrad of Orlando, Jean Bean of Weston and Dorothy Lovett of Walkersville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Skinner and one sister: Irene Fealey.
Jack was a farmer. Of his animals, Jack especially loved his sheep. He enjoyed going ginsenging. He will be missed by his family and friends. Jack was a member of the Orlando United Methodist Church. Jack loved the Lord and He was Jack’s best friend!
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ed Barker officiating. Interment will follow services in the Orlando Cemetery in Orlando, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Jack may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
