Juanita Mae  King (King)
Juanita Mae King, 71, of Weston passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 in United Hospital Center of Bridgeport following a brief illness. She was born in Lewis County on February 21, 1944: daughter of the late French King and Annabelle (Alkire) King.
Miss King is survived by two daughters: Tammy Metzgar of Philippi and Bonnie (David) Vankirk of Weston, six grandchildren: Lena Curry, Bobby Posey, Latosha Kelley, David Vankirk, Jr. Mark Metzgar and Ryan Metzgar and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Tom King of Weston and Gene King of Jane Lew, four sisters: Elma Riffle, Virginia Marple and Irene Lundell all of Weston and Sue Bonnell of Jane Lew and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by one brother: David King and three sisters: Anna Bonnell, Hazel Foster and Madge Richards.
Juanita loved long rides in the country. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Mike Riffle officiating. Interment will follow services in the Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Juanita may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
