On December 31, 2015, Patricia Jean Turner, 59, of Weston passed away at home, surrounded by her family, following an extended illness. Patricia was born on January 30, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV. She was preceded in death by her mother, the late Jacqueline Lee (Drummond) Rogers and her father, James Williams Rogers. Patricia is survived by her husband, James Foster “Corky” Turner.
Patricia is also survived by her siblings, Mrs. Susan E. Massey and husband Edward E. of Charlotte, NC, Rebecca H. Cogar of Columbia, SC, Catherine E. Domozych and husband David of Saratoga Springs, NY, James M. Rogers and wife Linda of Salem, WV and Heidi Goots of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Patricia spent her entire life caring for others. Her chosen career was Nursing. Patricia’s compassion and caring nature came through her interactions throughout her Nursing career of 24 years. She worked at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital of Weston and Dr Pascasio’s Doctor Office of Weston as a nurse and office manager.
Patricia also had a love of nature photography. She had the unique ability to find the beauty in almost anything she looked at and she brought those qualities to everything she did. This world was made better to have her here and she will be sadly missed by all those she has touched during her life.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bob Hoover officiating.
