Patricia Elizabeth Strader, 71, of Jane Lew passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at home following an extended illness. She was born in Harrison County on July 8, 1944: daughter of the late William Miller and Mary (Wetzel) Miller. On December 24, 1962, she married Henry Strader, who survives.
Mrs. Strader is also survived by two sons: Dave (Trista) Strader and Henry S. (Lori) Strader both of Weston and six grandchildren: Randi Strader, Taz Strader, Becky Strader, Aaron Strader, Jacob Freeman and Thomas Paugh. She is also survived by six brothers: Wilber Miller of Tiffin, OH, William Miller of Duck Creek, WV, and Chuck, Jack, Ralph and Willard Miller all of McWhorter, one sister: Sue Banks of Elyria, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Strader was a glassworker with Louie and Jane Lew Glass Factories in Lewis County and a glass factory in Tiffin, OH. She was a graduate of Lost Creek High School. Patricia loved music and playing the guitar. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing and baking cakes.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Clifford West officiating. Interment will follow services in Broad Run Cemetery of Jane Lew, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Patricia may be expressed at hardman-palettiifuneralhome.com.
