Patricia Louise Cumberledge, 69, of Horner passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 in Genesis Healthcare Center-Salem following a brief illness. She was born in Santa Ana, CA on January 15, 1946: daughter of the late Kenneth L. Masters and Helen (Tibbals) Masters. On November 16, 1968, she married George F. Cumberledge, who survives.
Mrs. Cumberledge is also survived by one daughter: Ginger (Tim) Boles of Bridgeport and two grandchildren: Zachary and Tamara Boles .In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by one sister: Jocelyn Heath.
Mrs. Cumberledge was an English and Library Science teacher graduating from Glenville State College and a clerk for the Eureka Pipeline Service of St Marys. Mrs. Cumberledge was a member of the St. Marys Eastern Star and a member of the St Marys Women’s Club. She was also a member of the WV Federation of Square Dancing, Ladies Auxiliary of the Fire Department and Girl Scout Troop leader. As a teacher, Patricia was very active with the Parent Teacher’s Association.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Robert Fields officiating. Interment will follow services in the Vandalia Cemetery of Vandalia, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Patricia may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
