Obituary for James Willard Devericks
James Willard Devericks, 79, of Morgantown passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown following an extended illness. He was born in Coldwater, WV on October 4, 1935: son of the late Luther Devericks and Nina (Nicholson) Devericks.
Mr. Devericks is survived by two sons: Dwayne Luther Devericks of Cleveland, OH and James Kevin Devericks of Atlantis, FL and four grandchildren: Lavina, Shauna, Savannah and Sierra Devericks. Also surviving are two brothers: Edward Devericks of Coldwater, WV and Buddy Devericks of Richmond, VA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one son: Darin Devericks and one sister: Ruth Langbein.
Mr. Devericks was a union carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking.
At Mr. Devericks request, he will be cremated. There will be no visitation or services. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of James may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
