Loving Memories

Johnny, my heart is with you and your family. I loved your mom for such a long time that I can't begin to tell you all the loving memories we have shared together.  I remember her being so patient and loving to me when your mom and dad had the bakery. I was only about 7 or 8, but she taught me how to fold boxes and put me to work, boy did I feel priviledged and big. When she had her tanning salon, I would sit and wait my turn and talk with her about all the things going on around us, she'd show me all the pictures she had begun to paint, how she came up with the subject matter and the colors she had chosen.  She also showed me many of her pieces she was cutting when cutting glass. She was so excited when she was cutting the glass for the President at that time. She had talent that wouldn't stop. If she thought it she could create it.  She was and will always be a very special lady in my eyes and heart. I tried to come see her tonight but just couldn't make myself do it. I want to remember her as I last saw her, the beautiful, vibrant, and happy lady I've known throughout my life. The Lord used her in many way and through many channels to touch and help others. She will be sadly missed.  My prayers go out to you and your family as you adjust your daily lives to her absence. You've been a terrific son and I know she loved you dearly.
