Obituary for Ivan Junior Craig

Ivan Junior Craig age 85 of Broad Run Village, Jane Lew WV, passed away on May 21, 2014 at home following an extended illness. Ivan was born in Gilmer County, WV on August 14, 1928, son of the late John and Lovie (Amos) Craig.
Ivan married Norma J. Craig; on July 22, 1950 in Weston. They were happily married 64 years. Ivan is survived by his loving wife Jean; son’s David (Jaqueline) of Baltimore, Maryland and Richard Craig (Elizabeth) of Flowering Branch, Georgia; Grandchildren; Shane, Brittany-Jo, Danny, Tiffany, Brandi, Angel, Dakota, Hunter, and many Great Grandchildren and Great- Great Grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ivan is preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Dowell.
Ivan was a loving husband, father and a veteran having served under the Army and Navy branches of the United States military. Ivan was a Mason, a member of the Weston Lodge #10, A.F. & A.M., Shriner, and Scottish Rite Mason. He served as Director of the Senior Center in Baltimore, Maryland, and served in the Lewis County Senior Center. He worked his lifetime as a CSX railroad engineer from which he retired.
Friends and family may call at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue, Weston, WV, on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 3:00 – 4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Toby Dukich. Interment will follow services in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Jane Lew, and WV. Ivan will be buried with full Military Honors.
