Hannah Nicole Cook, 11, of Berlin Road Weston went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 18, 2014 in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital of Weston following an extended illness. She was born in Petersburg, WV on August 14, 2002: daughter of Jennifer L. (Foster) Cook and fiancé Bradley Lemons of Weston and David D. Cook, Jr. and wife Amanda of Charleston.
Hannah is survived by one brother Hunter Pritchard Cook and one sister: Haylee Cook. Also surviving are Maternal grandparents: Carla and Francis Foster of Weston, Maternal great grandparents: Irma Curtis of Weston and the late Carl Curtis and Carl and Threca Foster of Weston. Shei also survived by one aunt: Julie Heiney of Weston, one uncle: Jason (Missy) Foster of Weston and four cousins: Cody, Dylan, Ada Grace and Josiah. Paternal grandparents are David and Brenda Cook of Riverton and great grandparents are the late Fred and Beulah Cook and the late Ival and Kathleen Kisamore.
Hannah was a fith grader at Robert L. Bland Middle School of Weston. She was a member of the Stonecoal United Methodist Church of Weston. Hannah enjoyed swimming, boating, camping and shopping. Hannah loved music and her family and friends will miss her smile that she enjoyed giving.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Bill Dawson and Reverend Bob King officiating. Interment will follow services in the Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Hannah may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
