Vicki Lynn Gillespie, 70, of Alum Street Weston passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Weston on December 14, 1947: daughter of the late William H. Tucker, Jr. and Laverne (Harrison) Tucker. On October 11, 1967, she married Warren Gillespie, who survives.
Vicki is also survived by three loving children: Teri L. Roberts and husband Daniel of Dublin, OH, Paul E. Gillespie and wife Amanda of Jane Lew and Daniel L. Gillespie and wife Hollie of Wheeling, nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Gillespie was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Weston High School. Vicki was a Christian by faith and attended the River Church of Christ of Upshur County. Her hobbies included reading, quilting, cross stitching and crafting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew at the convenience of the family with Pastor Scott Davis officiating.
