Gregory "Doug"  Murphy
Gregory "Doug" Murphy, 57, of Weston passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Youngstown, OH on April 29, 1961: son of Donald Murphy and Deloris (Spaur) Murphy. On March 26, 2017, he married Brenda (Paugh) Murphy, who survives.
Mr. Murphy is also survived by one daughter: Sarah Lindsey Murphy of Jane Lew, one step son: Travis McCloy of Weston and two special people he helped to raise: Liza Surock and Eric Riddle both of Weston. He is also survived by one sister: Tonya Motsinger of Columbus, OH and nieces and nephews. He also had special canine companions: Maddy and Peachis.
Mr. Murphy was an Electrical Pro at Lowe’s and he he loved his job.. Doug loved the outdoors…….hunting, fishing and four-wheeler riding. Mr. Murphy’s greatest love was his family and helping others!
Doug’s request for cremation was honored and fellowship time in Celebration of Doug's life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. at Haleville Union Mission Church of Weston with Pastor Mike Riffle in charge.
