James David Hutter, 75, of Vadis Road, Alum Bridge passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at home following a sudden illness. He was born in Pasadena, CA on December 3, 1942: son of the late Frank and Florence Hutter. On March 18, 1964, he married Mardella (Riffle) Hutter, who preceded him in death on August 31, 2008.
Mr. Hutter is survived by one granddaughter: Leslie Simpson and husband Timothy of Grafton and two great grandchildren: Alexander Hutter and Jace Simpson. He is also survived by one brother: John Hutter of California and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Mardella , James was preceded in death by one son: Terry Hutter.
Mr. Hutter was retired from the boiler room at Weston State Hospital. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Camping and Reading.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. Following services, Mr. Hutter will be cremated and there will be a private burial in Rock Grove Cemetery of Linn, WV at a later date.
