Louis Ray Seelback, 82, of Old Rte 33 Weston passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home following a sudden illness. He was born in Weston on October 31, 1935: son of the late Lawrence Adam Seelback and Lavaughn (King) Seelback. On April 26, 1956, he married Dolly Belle (Miller) Seelback, who preceded him in death on October 23, 2016.
Mr. Seelback is survived by two daughters: Veronica “Susie” McNemar and husband John of Buckhannon and Dolly Regina Good and husband Jimmy of Weston and two sons: Thomas L. Seelback and wife Tabby of Weston and Wesley Ray Seelback and wife Lisa of Weston. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Michael Shawn and David Scott McNemar (deceased), Jimmy Joel Good, and Tyler, Brad, Cody and Zach Seelback and 15 great grandchildren: Jonathan, Kayden, Belle and Jase McNemar, Josh, Lexie, and Maddie Warner, Kylee and Joel Good, Eli, Preston, Stephanie and Brooke Seelback and Trinity, Makenna and Edro Seelback and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Dolly, Louis was preceded in death by one daughter: Vanessa A. Seelback, one brother: Lawrence Edward Seelback and two sisters: Luwanna Knight and Lena Lisa Seelback.
Mr. Seelback owned and operated Louie’s Radiator Shop of Weston and was a full time pastor with Family Worship Center of Buckhannon, WV. After retirement, he attended Century Community Church of Century, WV. Mr. Seelback was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a caring father, grandfather and great grandfather. Louis died of a broken heart and his Christmas wish was to go home to be with Dolly. And Louie got his wish!
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mildred Endrizzle and Pastor Guy Ware officiating. Interment will follow services in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew, WV. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Lewis County Honor Guard.
