Obituary for Willard Eugene Mealey
Willard Eugene Mealey, 76, of Weston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 3rd, 1945 to the late Wilbur Burk Mealey and Lola Juanita (Lewis) Mealey. Eugene was united in marriage on February 4th, 1967 to the love of his life Mary (Bonnett) Mealey, who survives.
Forever cherishing Eugene’s life are his two sons Kenneth Eugene Mealey and wife Lori of Weston and Michael Shawn Mealey and wife Kimberly of Fort Mill, SC, 4 grandchildren; Zach Mealey, Brandon Mealey, Mikala Mealey and Grant Mealey, 2 great-grandchildren Braden Mealey and Colton Mealey, 2 sisters; Lois Loyd of Warwick, RI and Geneva Kerr of Walkersville, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Eugene was a graduate of Weston High School class of 1964. He served a 6 month active duty tour in the Army Reserves. Eugene had retired from Moore’s Business Forms of Buckhannon, WV as a shipping clerk with 28 years of service. He attended the New Life Southern Baptist Church of Glady Fork. Eugene loved to watch his West Virginia Mountaineer basketball and football teams on television. He enjoyed going to watch his grandson’s games anytime possible. Eugene will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Main Avenue Weston, WV on Friday, April 16th, 2021 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with the funeral service beginning at 1:00PM from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dave Riddle and Pastor Jerry Bean officiating.
