Virginia Lee (Keesecker) Barker, 76, of Burnsville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 14th, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on June 14th, 1945 in Churchville, WV to the late Russell Keesecker and Emogene (Hurst) Keesecker. Virginia was united in marriage on November 7th, 1964 to Pastor Eddie L. Barker, who survives.
Cherishing the life of Virginia are 5 sons: Eddie Leroy Barker, Jr. and wife Julie of Weston, Donald Lee Barker and wife Karen of Burnsville, Russell Olen Barker and wife Tammie of Beckley, Daniel Lee Barker and wife Jennifer of Weston and Samuel Lee Barker and wife Jennifer of Weston, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nephews. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by 1 brother: Russell Junior Keesecker.
Virginia was a graduate of Weston High School class of 1963. She was a housewife and loving mother to her five sons. Virginia was a member of the Church of God in Burnsville. She loved to go shopping. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Virginia will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston, WV on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jesse Blake officiating. Interment will follow services at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in Jane Lew.
