Tuewanda Faye Mullooly, 82, of Weston went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 20th, 2021. She was born on November 29th, 1938 in Jackson’s Mill, WV to the late James Loughry and Denella (Butcher) Loughry. Faye was united in marriage on July 7th, 1962 to John Kaden Mullooly, who preceded her in death on January 21st, 2001.
Forever cherishing Faye’s life are her three daughters: Therese Marie Abston and husband Vincent Michael of Rice, VA, Annette Kathleen McGehee and husband Connor of Virginia Beach, VA, and Mary Stalnaker and husband Steven of Kincheloe, WV; 4 grandchildren: Thomas Vincent Abston, Katelynn Marie Roark, Kaden Lewis Wuchner and Frederick Clark Stalnaker, 1 great-grandchild: Benjamin Dale Sapp, and a beloved Aunt that was more like a sister, Agnes Sholes.
In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was also preceded in death by 1 half brother Thomas Adams Loughry, and 2 half sisters, Reland Loughry Deets, and Lucy Lee Loughry Walsh.

Faye was a graduate of Weston High School class of 1956. She then went on to attend St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Clarksburg, WV, graduating in 1959. Faye worked as a registered nurse in Ohio, Virginia and Texas before returning to Weston State Hospital where she had begun her nursing career. She retired from William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital in 2010 after 25 years of service. Throughout her nursing career, Faye was a fierce advocate for persons with mental illness.
Faye was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church of Weston, WV. She belonged to many groups and organizations including the Friends Auxillary at Sharpe Hospital, a community prayer group and St. Mary’s Alumni Group. She was an avid gardener and canner, with her specialty being her canned sauerkraut. Faye loved animals, including her dog Cubby and cat Joey. She also enjoyed feeding birds. Faye had a passion for traveling and seeing new places. She loved to read and go shopping. Faye cherished memories and time spent with family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston, WV, on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 from 5:00PM-7:00PM with Rosary being recited at 6:30PM from the funeral home chapel. A Mass will be held at the St. Patrick Catholic Church of Weston, WV, on Friday, February 26th, 2021 at 1:00PM with Father Douglas Ondeck as celebrant.
