Obituary for Tracy Berlin Byrd
Tracy Berlin Byrd, 86, of Weston passed away on Thursday July 16th, 2020 at his nephew James C. and Brenda Byrd’s home following an extended illness. He was born on February 18th, 1934 in Camden, WV. He was the son of the late Okey Byrd and Clova McDonald Byrd.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Charles Byrd, Lloyd Byrd, and Calvin Byrd, and 5 sisters: Freda Keith, Winema Metz, Burdeane Shellhammer, Frankie Lough, and Nell DeMark.
Mr. Byrd after school went into The United States Army where he served proudly for six years. He was a retired lineman for the B&O Railroad. He enjoyed fishing and loved watching the FOX News and playing the lottery.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue of Weston, WV on Tuesday, July 21st, 2020 from 12noon to 1PM with a private family funeral service at 1PM from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Wease Day officiating. Interment will follow services at the Broad Run Church Cemetery of Jane Lew, WV with full Military Honors conducted by the United States Army and the Lewis County Honor Guard.
