Steve Lane Villers, of Weston WV, left this world and went on to heaven August 15th, 2021. He was born at Weston General Hospital to Roy and Virginia Villers. He grew up at the mouth of Crooked Run in Alum Bridge WV where he mastered his loved hobbies of hunting, fishing, and farming. Steve graduated from Weston High School in 1961, attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, and continued on to complete Heavy Equipment School in Florida. He married his childhood sweetheart Nadine June Pumphrey on February 8th 1963. They have been married 58 years and set an amazing example for others to follow.

After completing his education and training Steve worked for Alban Tractor in Pasadena Md. Eventually, he returned to West Virginia and began working for Clyde Sherrell at Allegheny Wireline. After 34 years of hard work in the oil and gas industry, Steve retired to continue his hobbies of hunting, fishing, and farming his land in Kincheloe WV.

Steve was an amazing father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His oldest son Shawn Villers resides in Ocean Isle North Carolina with his significant other Terri Frazee. His middle son Lane Villers resides in Chestertown MD with his wife Regina Villers. His youngest son Scott Villers resides in Weston WV. Steve’s grandchildren are Shawn’s son Eli Villers, Lane’s son Casey and Daughter Brianna, and Scott’s daughters Kia Rene, Gabbi Grace, and Vivian Faith. Steve has two great grandchildren he loves dearly as well.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, mother, and his infant brother.
