Obituary for Stella Loraine "Rene" Henline
Stella Loraine “Rene” Henline, 90, of Horner, WV went home to her Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2019 Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born in Shinnston on July 13, 1929: daughter of the late Charles Hilton and Blanche (Oliver) Hilton. On December 24, 1946, she married James A. Henline, who preceded her in death on August 6, 1990.
Rene is survived by two sons:: Terry E Henline, of South Point, OH and Randy L Henline (Sherry, his wife) of Whitewater, KS. She was also blessed with 2 grandchildren: Travis Henline (Wife Theresa) of Rogers AR and Jarred Henline (wife Ashley) of Saratoga Springs UT and 6 great-grandchildren: Jonathon Henline of South Point, OH. Gavin Henline of Rogers AR. Dyson Henline, Cambry Henline, Ellie Henline and Brody Henline, all of Saratoga Springs, UT. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband James, Rene was preceded in death by 9 siblings: Paul Hilton, Robert Hilton, Sam Hilton, Ralph Hilton, James Hilton, Doug Hilton, Ora Toothman, Hazel Russell and Patty Hilton.
Rene was a Foster Grandparent at Jane Lew Elementary School, she was children’s Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Weston and worked for a short time at Post Office in Horner. Rene was proud to have been a member of the Teresa Snaith Auxillary of Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital of Weston, WV. She loved children and asked that donations be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital in place of flowers. Rene’s smile was infectious and made you smile too. She will be missed by all her friends and family.
Family and friends will be received at Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Ave Weston on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at the Lewis County Memorial Gardens with Reverend Kenneth Miller officiating.
