Shirley Lea Tenney, 79, of Nettie, WV passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born in Upshur County on March 20, 1942: daughter of the late Delmar L. Lantz and Evangeline Jean (Tallman) Lantz.
Cherishing the life of Shirley is 1 daughter: Kathy J. Radcliff and husband John II of Canvas, WV, 5 grandchildren: Brittany Groves and husband Ryan, Brandon Hardy, John Radcliff III, Aaron Radcliff and fiancé Tori Deering, and Andy Radcliff and wife Nina, several great grandchildren, 1 brother: Michael W. Lantz and wife Bonnie of Buckhannon and 1 sister in law: Nancy Lantz of Philippi and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Kimberly S. Hardy, 1 brother: Gary E. Lantz, and 1 sister: Jo Ann Rohr.
Shirley was a graduate of Upshur County High School. She retired from the Weston State Hospital as a Health Service Worker. She enjoyed scrapbooking, flowers, and watching birds. She had a passion for baking, and some of her favorites were peanut butter fudge and pumpkin rolls.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 11AM-1PM. The funeral service will begin at 1PM from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Randy Simms officiating. Interment will follow services at Heavener Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV.
