Obituary for Sharron Kaye James
Sharron Kaye James, 72, of Weston passed away on Tuesday, August 24th, 2021 at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born in Weston on April 15th, 1949 to the late James F. Shearer and Marian (Moore) Shearer. Sharron was united in marriage on December 21st, 1968 to Stanley James, who survives.
Cherishing the life of Sharron includes her husband Stanley, 2 sons: Kevin James and wife Lisa of Weston and Danny James and wife Sonja of Roanoke, 1 daughter: Amy Ferguson and husband Adam of Walkersville, 8 grandchildren: Casey James, Katelyn James, Jericho James, Zachary James, Makayla Ferguson, Bethany James, Maycee Ferguson and Madelyn “Lizzy” James, 1 brother: Francis “Butch” Bonnett of Point Pleasant, WV, 2 sisters: Vanessa Davis of Kent, OH and Margaret Kleckner of Buckhannon, WV and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharron was preceded in death by a sister Lorena Metzgar.
Sharron was a graduate of Weston High School class of 1967. She was a member of the Freemans Creek Baptist Church. Sharron was a homemaker and loved cooking and taking care of her family. She enjoyed going to her grandkids sporting events and cheering for them. Sharron will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 from the funeral home chapel at 2:00pm with Pastor Josh Radcliff officiating, Interment will follow services at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in Jane Lew.
