Obituary for Sharon Ann Davisson
Sharon Ann Davisson, 78, of Alum Bridge passed away on Monday, May 10th, 2021 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on October 14th, 1942 to the late Luther and Hallie (Lynch) Heater. Sharon was united in marriage on July 17th, 1959 to Aubrey Davisson who preceded her in death on August 5th, 2008.
Cherishing memories of Sharon are 1 daughter: Diana Lockhart of Alum Bridge, 2 sons: Jeff Davisson of Weston and Douglas Davisson of Weston, 4 grandchildren: Kristy McCoy, Jennifer Sargent, Tyler Davisson, Derek Davisson, 4 great-grandchildren: Kolten Moody, Jaeylnn Sargent, Bricen and Braylee Sargent, 3 sisters: Debbie Sams and husband Bobby, Helen Montgomery and husband Bob and Patty Clem, 1 brother-in-law: Larry Carder and several nieces and nephews. Sharon was also preceded in death by 1 sister: Linda Carder.
Sharon was a graduate of Glenville High School. She worked for the Alum Bridge Post Office as a Post Master for 15 years. Sharon enjoyed fishing and going to Dirt Track and NASCAR races with her family. She loved to go to Giovanni’s in Weston to eat and socialize. Sharon will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Family and friends will be received at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 from 4:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 13th, 2021 at 1:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
