Ruth was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Oil Creek United Methodist Church where she served her Lord and her church as a leader, teacher, loving friend to all and a choir member. She enjoyed singing hymns in a gospel group called “The Glory Bound Singers” with Bill and Matt Beam. They sang in many churches around the area for several years. Ruth loved to attend church, sing, garden, tend to her flowers, play games, read, quilt, and visit her friends. She especially treasured spending time with her family.
