Obituary for Roscoe Clinton Wiant
Roscoe Clinton Wiant, 81, residing in Stonerise Nursing Home of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at WVU United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born in Gilmer County on May 15, 1941, son of the late Arnett Wiant and Mary Neal Wiant.
Roscoe is survived by a brother, Kenneth Wiant of Weston and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Roscoe was preceded in death by four brothers, Layman, Brenton, Glendon, and Clayton Wiant.
Roscoe enjoyed learning the word of God and reading his Bible. He loved to play the guitar, work model airplanes and to go fishing when able. Roscoe will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held at Hardman Family Funeral Home, 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held following the visitation at Hiney Hill Cemetery in Linn, WV with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
