Obituary for Roberta Earland Devericks
Roberta Earland Devericks, 78, of Rock Cave went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2022 in St Joseph Hospital of Buckhannon, WV. She was born in Horner, WV on July 11, 1944: daughter of the late Frank Henline and Leda (Henline) Henline.
Roberta will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Dwayne Luther Devericks of Cleveland, OH and James Kevin Devericks of West Palm Beach, FL and 4 grandchildren: Lavina and Shauna Smith and Savannah and Sierra Devericks. She will also be missed by a half sister: Kathy (Ferry) Coppersmith and her special 93 year old uncle: Carl Henline, whom she looked forward to talking to every week.
Roberta worked as a sheet metal machinist in a factory and also as a dental assistant in a dental office in Cleveland, OH. She was a graduate of Weston High School and was a member of the Rock Cave Baptist Church and she was also a Sunday school teacher for many years. Her hobbies include reading, crocheting and sewing. Our family extends a special thank you to all those who cared for our mother over the years.
