Obituary for Patricia Joann Helmick (Halterman)
Patricia Joann Helmick, 63, of Weston passed away on Friday, October 21st, 2022 in Mon Health Care Center in Morgantown, WV. She was born in Lewis County on April 4th, 1959: daughter of the late Hayward Ray Halterman and Patricia (Jarvis) Halterman.
Forever cherishing Patricia’s memory are two children: Keithia Helmick and companion Shelby Godfrey of Walkersville and Johnny Ray Helmick, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Jane Lew, four grandchildren: Darrion, Abigale and Connor Helmick and Lucritia Mathews and four great grandchildren: Bentley and Kensley Helmick and Leia and Ryker Mathews. Also cherishing memories of Patricia is one brother: Ron Halterman of Troy and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Patricia was preceded in death by three brothers: Terry, Joe and Jim Halterman.
Patricia was an aide with Lewis County Senior Center of Weston, WV. She also cut glass at J. & L. Glass of Weston and was a bar tender at River Street, Bodine’s and Shirley’s Supper Club over the years. Patricia enjoyed crafting and glass etching. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially her grandkids.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel.
