Naomi Yvonne Harris, 71, of Buckhannon, passed away on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 at United Hospital Center. She was born on October 17th, 1949 in Vinton, OH to the late Freeman Reese Grogg and Wanda Marie (Lago) Grogg. Naomi was united in marriage on December 24th, 1967 to Robert Harris who preceded her in death on January 20th, 2018.

Naomi is survived by one son: Anthony Harris and wife Brenda of Buckhannon, WV and one daughter: Debra McKinley of Stephen City, VA, four grandchildren: Kelley McKinley, Keith McKinley, Anthony Harris Jr. and wife Ashley and Brittney Griffith, six great-grandchildren: Baila Frame, Hayden Harris, Brently Harris, Jaylynn Cunningham, DeLana Griffith and Riley Griffith, one brother: Reese Grogg of Weston, one sister: Nellie Sandy of Weston, one ½ brother Wayne Forest and wife Terri of Nebraska, one ½ sister: Darlene Burkhammer of Weston and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Naomi was preceded in death by three brothers: Nelson Grogg, James Grogg and Roger Grogg, two sisters: Delores Harris and Janie Coleman, four ½ brothers: Bernard Forest Kevin Forest, Delbert Forest and Carl Forest and one ½ sister: Wilma Miller.

Naomi was a private caregiver. She attended the New Life Tabernacle Church. Naomi enjoyed tending to her rose bushes and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. She loved spending time with her family and caring for her dog “Candy”. Naomi will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
