Nancy Lee Bleigh, 77 of Weston, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 4, 1945 in Weston, daughter of the late Homer Atchison and Genevieve Opal (Harris) Atchison Garton. Nancy was united in marriage to Lester M. Bleigh, Sr. on April 25, 1960, who survives. Together they shared a wonderful 62 years.

Cherishing Nancy’s life are her husband Lester, 4 daughters; Tammy McVay and husband Alfred of Bunker Hill, WV, Joyce Frazier and husband Brian of Lawton, OK, Mechelle Bleigh of Weston, and Brenda Harris and husband Anthony of Buckhannon, 1 son; Lester Bleigh, Jr. and wife Melissa of Weston, 8 grandchildren; Nicole, Carlene, Wesley, Cassie, Brandy, Georgia, Anthony, Jr., and Brittany, several great grandchildren, 1 sister; Betty Rollyson of Weston, 2 brothers; Bobby and Bill Atchison both of Weston, and several nieces and nephew.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debbie Bleigh, a sister, Helen Hartley, and 5 brothers; Tom, Jack, David, Jim, and Johnny Atchison.

Nancy was a loving housewife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting and watching television. Nancy will be missed by all of her family and friends.

A private family viewing will be held at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11AM-1PM. A public Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Post Chapel Cemetery of Crawford, WV with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
